Lately I’ve found myself being very overwhelmed with life! Weather it’s my job, college, my family, or relationships I just need a break. This is why I have decided to book a random trip! (Basically around the whole world!) I’ll be starting my trip in Los Angeles! Hopefully I will get to go to Hollywood and do the normal basic tourist things you do when you first visit LA! I have decided to stay in a hostel while in LA. I am hope it this will make these few days there a more laid back and local feel. I am sure I will met people who have visited LA before and I can’t wait to explore with the people I met! After LA I will board my flight to Japan! Sadly, it is only a connecting flight where I have to change airports, but but, I still will have 5 hours to get some local food and head to the second airport. After my short time in Japan, I will get to my first destination! Taipei, Taiwan! While there I will be staying with a family member of my roommates! I am going to explore all of the temples in the area, and go hiking in a lot of places. Christmas will be coming up while I am in the city so I have the opportunity to go to the schools and talk with the children about the importance and true meaning of Christmas! I can not wait for this opportunity! After my stay in Taiwan I will head to Bangkok, Thailand where I will also be staying with a friend. There I will be able to visit the markets, ride elephants, and see what it’s like to truly live like a local since I will be staying with a local! One night of my stay in Thailand I will visit Phuket, Thailand where I will stay at a hostel and met people from around the world! My main goal while on the island is to visit another island not too far away called Monkey Island where monkeys live and you can interact with them! After Thailand I will be traveling all the way to Stockholm, Sweden! Once I get there I will make my way by a night train to a small town way up north to see the northern lights! After that experience I will travel back to Stockholm and experience that city. I can’t come all the way to Stockholm without visiting my favorite country, Germany! I will finally get to visit the capital of my favorite country, Berlin! Here I will get to see the Berlin Wall and visit museums. After My time in Berlin I am not sure which direction I will be going. It’s unsure yet but I might be making a stop in Frankfurt, Germany to see my childhood best friend of she is still there. (She lives in America but is staying with her friend for as long as she can unless she can find a job. If she doesn’t find a job then I won’t be stopping in Frankfurt.) After Germany I happily get to visit London, England again! I couldn’t miss this opportunity because the flight from Germany to England was only $27! While there I will get to bypass the popular tourist attractions because I saw them all the first time I was there. I will get to visit all the free museums that London gets to offer and hopefully get to find some cool local spots for food, drinks, and dancing. My last city on my list is Dublin, Ireland! I haven’t done much research on the city yet and I have never been here before. I will be staying in a hostel here and my plan is to just hang out with the people I met here. Although, let’s be honest after a month of traveling and exploring and only bring a carry on bag I’m gonna be a mess! But as I always say, “You haven’t truly traveled if you don’t need a vacation when you get home!”.
I will keep you all updated as I make my way around the world! Stay tuned, and travel like a local.
